chrisrin | Office Depot is sooo big!

Bah. I have had a busy weekend, yet somehow I didn't manage to get anything I wanted to get done, done. Friday night I went out with Mom, she needed to get lumber and hinges so we went to Lowes (for three hours). Then we went to Office Max for some random things and we grabbed dinner. After heading back to the house to let out the dogs and grab some bed clothes I went back and spent the night with her. I got up, came back to let out the dogs and then hit the road to go see Papa in Batavia. He's doing much better so we spent a much longer time with him then we usually do (about three hours) before having dinner and coming back. I didn't get home until 12ish (later then I wanted to get home) and once again I let out the dogs. Then I went to bed. I got up this morning (fairly early for a weekend morning, which I was pleased with) and Dad informs me that we are going to go buy a carpet for his new room. So we left the house at 10...we got home at 5:30. Somehow carpet shopping turned into bed shopping and then we had to have lunch (and I had to go to three (three!) pet stores to check out the price of cages (I didn't buy any) because I have to move Nala and her current cage is too large to fit into my room or anywhere else really. wooo. So we got home and then we lugged the new carpet up the stairs (not my favorite thing to do) and kicked it into shape. After we were satisfied, we came back downstairs to put a new handle on the screendoor and now, finally I am sitting here relaxed.

In other news Jessica keeps trying to call the house but the phone is acting up so the phone never rings and we don't even know she has tried to call. She managed to get ahold of mom though and talk to her and it sounds like she's having a good time. Yesterday she was playing with baby lions and tigers, which is pretty cool.

Hmph.
