Lancaster in the News
Nov. 6th, 2007 10:06 pmI watched the news on Channel Ten tonight, and they had two articles on the news about Lancaster. The first described an assult on a 50ish year old man which took place right by Rogers Flowers. Itt was right around Columbus Ave and Fifth Ave. :( Very scary. The beat him pretty badly, he was in the hospital for three days.
Then they discussed the 38 robberies that have been going on since August. They caught someone who they believe is involved in the robberies. (I'm sure at least some of you know about this stuff already but I'm not always up to date on everything going on).
It was kind of scary to have Lancaster in the news twice for serious crimes, I like the fact that Lancaster isn't on Channel 10 all that often, you know? Then I looked at the LEG homepage and the headline is about the man murdered in Pickerington. :( No good.
If you don't read the paper/don't want to pay/don't have time to pick it up everyday, but you still want to know the news in Lancaster you might want to check the Lancaster Eagle Gazette homepage sometimes. It's surprisingly interactive, every news story I've ever clicked on has at least five comments and a degree of intelligent debate about whatever issue is currently being discussed.
