Sex and Stress
Feb. 27th, 2007 12:11 amOkay so there's my to do list (like always, this is for me, no need to read).
Writers Club is going to Writers Block in Columbus this Wednesday, so I've been running around taking care of that stuff, and we have an event planned for this weekend as well, and banner making on Friday, so really this is just the weekend of Writers Club (which is not so good, since I have an exam and a project proposal due next week) but it will be nice to get fliers up, finish the damn banner, and finally buy the fricking bookcase for the office.
I haven't worked this hard in a while. I mean, there is almost constant non-stop work right now, every moment that I sit down there is something else to do, it makes me appreciate a bit more how I sort of, well slacked off isn't really the right phrase, but how I took things easy a bit more less semester. This semester I don't have that option. I think I'm a bit burnt out, and slowly approaching melting point so I took a break tonight and I feel a bit more relaxed. I am feeling better now, amazing how a hot shower and two (yes two) episodes of CSI will make me feel better. Oh and aleve, helps. ^_^
Anyway. What else? I think that's most of it, I can't wait until Spring Break, speaking of Spring Break, Jess I was talking to Mom and she said you were going on a trip sometime in March, do you know when?
I'm not sure what I'm doing on Spring Break, but I do know that I'm not sitting around in the house watching tv, and waiting for my friends to call to tell me they can't do things we've planned to do.
I actually want to do some fun things this break, amazing I know. At the same time, I def want to schedule some relaxing time for myself, I have a tendency to push myself to have fun just like I push myself to do work, with the same result some of the time - stress. So yeah, relaxation is a definite most.
Yeah, so. Spring Break will be most appreciated (only 2 weeks left of classes, counting this week, yea!)
I checked out some fun books today, Sex and the Slayer and Why Buffy Matters ^_^. Fun fun.
