The Short Entry
Aug. 6th, 2004 04:24 pmThe fact of the matter is that I wrote a very long entry which the computer ate... So I will quickly paraphrase.
Concerning friends: I confronted Elaine about the situation. She told me she didn't feel comfortable confiding in me b/c I was moody and always angry. She said that she is afraid that I secretly hate her, and she believes that I am all the time holding a secret grudge against her. Minh disagrees, as do most of my friends. So I feel a little better. I am now trying to be more open and less moody.
Yesterday everybody but Juan went to Hocking Hills, it was cool I took lots of pics. We had a picnic and then went back to Minhs' where we played Barbie, Connect 4 and Junior Pictionary. Jordan and I spent a lot of time together, and I think he may have asked me for a date. He spent a lot of time with his head on my knee, my shoulder, etc. and we spent most of the night sitting very close to one another-not by purpose on my part. The rest of the time, Nick was trying to rub on me. I'm glad that we are talking again, although most of yesterday he was a dick, but that doesn't give him permission to rub all over me. It upset Minh b/c I believe they are psuedo-dating. 'She has this big secret to tell us next week when we have our b-day party.'
Next week too I get to see Ms. Vice before I leave for college, which is cool. Plus I will get to spend one more day with Minh and Jordan.
This weekend is Sarah's baby shower which will be fun!
Concerning Scary things: I was pretty freaked out about my doc visits but not too bad were they. I got two shots, they didn't hurt going in, but the one hurts really bad right now, and I am feeling uncommonly tired. Also, Boots is alright for those who didn't now we had to take her to the vet, but she is okay minus one sore shoulder.
Concerning other matters: Just to state facts, I believe Jess should spend time with her friends, but I also have to deal with the seriousness of Dad's threats. For that reason, Jess does have to call Dad. She will never have to answer to me. I am not sitting at home angry b/c she is not here, and I will not be. When I call Jess to see when she is coming home, it is b/c Dad is yelling at me, and asking me where she is. Therefore, do not include me in the list of people Jess has to answer to, please.
Concerning Fun things: I have been steadily working on my book, and this is the first week I have not worked since Feb.!!!!!!!!!! Soon, I will be shopping for clothes etc. before I leave for college, so yeah.
Going to go now, I need to do some mundane things that I have been putting off. Bye all, and I hope to see you before I leave Kat, Jess, Chris, Miah, etc.
