While I had high hopes for nano, it's not going to happen for me this year. I think I may have my own nano some other month. Nov. is just not my month it seems, but I wrote 25,000 words so I'm pretty proud of myself anyway. I was going to give one final grand push but I have an exam and a quiz on Friday, so staying up all night Thursday to write isn't going to happen.
That being said, I urge everyone else who is currently struggling to pound out the ends (and middles) of their novels to move ahead with all the force and speed they can muster. You can do it! I have confidence in you.
In other news I have several things to be happy about at the moment:
-I did well on my geology exam, ^_^
-I managed to do rewrites of all three of my spanish essays monday night, and I turned them in today. We are allowed to do two rewrites of each essay and then she takes the scores of all three and averages them to give you your grade. This is my first rewrite but because I got them in early I still have more time to do the second rewrite.
-I also turned in my fourth spanish essay today.
-I spent several productive hours in the library today, and I am moving steadily through my Latin homework. I'm just about finished up with ch. 5 sentences. I still have ch. 6 to do, but now that ch. 5 is out of the way I feel better. We are currently working on ch. 7 but we are still working on ch. 6 sentences in class so I feel pretty confident about where I am. I also have started ch. 7 sentences. lol. That sounds confusing, but it makes sense to me. My goal is to have all of ch. 5 and ch. 6 done by the end of this week.
-I am actually doing pretty well on ch. 7 which is supposedly supposed to be really hard, we are doing the subjunctive tense, and I guess if I hadn't had spanish it would be hard, but so far it seems to be pretty manageable (that being said, I'm sure it will get really hard tomorrow, ^_~)
-I have started studying for my spanish exam (and will continue to do so after I finish up this entry)
So I have several things to be happy about, which is good because I've been kind of down this week. Like everyone else I'm ready for this semester to be over but so far I'm doing my best to plow through the last weeks.
And hey it's Wednesday - Hump Day, lol ^_^
