One of my big problems is seeing the long term. I'm pretty good about short term, but long term defeats me. I want things to be done now, not later, I want credit cards to be paid off now, not in a couple of months. Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees. This has been a hang up for me lately, but I am trying to work on this.

Although I did not end up going to Vermont two weekends ago, I did go to several book stores, bought some new clothes, and went to the top of the Empire State Building. (I have pictures which I will have to upload later). I had a great time, although, FYI, don't pay the extra $15.00 to go to the 102nd floor, it's not worth it - the 86th floor and the 102nd floor look exactly the same.

This Friday I went and saw Confessions of a Shopaholic with Kerri, it was really fun. We had a good time. I also ended up eating at Panera (which I have been covertly avoiding for four years or so) and it was good! I was amazed, lol. I didn't even feel ripped off. I got vegetable soup (scrumptious) and a sandwich and chips for around $7.00. Not bad, if I say so myself.

I am feeling a bit better about things, theoretically I should feel even better after this week (we'll see). :D
